In New York City, the firefighters are the FDNY.
In New York City, the firefighters are the FDNY. They are there to save the town from the flames. But also to help people in need. That is why September 11, 2001 the firefighters have rescued the injureds from the World Trate Center. Because On the morning of the 9-11 two planes explosed in the very big tower ! And two minutes after, both towers collapse. 3,000 peoples died. They are seen as Heroes throughout the Cty and even throughout the country. They saved a lot of people put out a lot of fire ... As the police, NYPD, they are very important in the city and loved by all the people! They worked hand in hand to save the maximun life.
